U.S. Wildlife Trafficking Alliance
The United States Wildlife Trafficking Alliance (USWTA) is a voluntary coalition of non-profit organizations, companies, foundations and media interests that will be working closely with the U.S. government in a private/public partnership to reduce the purchase and sale of illegal wildlife and wildlife products. Members include: Google, eBay, Etsy, Ralph Lauren, Tiffany & Co., JetBlue, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Discovery Communications, National Geographic and The Bronx Zoo and other members of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums.
I rebranded the U.S. Wildlife Trafficking Alliance; the logo itself does not single out any animal in particular, but rather represents the many species illegally trafficked every day. The human hand symbolizes the responsibility we have in protecting wildlife. The logo as a window system allows attention to be called to a certain species when necessary, celebrating the natural textures that make these creatures unique and irreplacable.
